# Regional endpoints

> Dedicated regional deployments are available to Cartesia Enterprise customers to support data sovereignty requirements.

By default, all API requests go to `api.cartesia.ai`, which automatically routes each request to the closest endpoint. Enterprise customers can also access dedicated deployments directly in regions including:

* United States
* European Union
* United Kingdom
* India
* Australia

A regional deployment serves your requests from infrastructure in that region. This keeps inference traffic within the region, which helps you meet data residency and compliance requirements, and reduces latency for nearby users. All regional endpoints have feature parity with `api.cartesia.ai`.
